We recommend that all first-time patients coming to our dental practice permit us to take x-rays so that we have a baseline for your dental care and can diagnose and treat any initial problems that they show. From this point forward, the frequency will depend on your specific situation. For most people, we recommend having x-rays done a couple times a year.
We prefer a personalized approach so you do not have more dental x-rays than you need but we don’t miss something that makes it challenging to save a tooth. Our goal is to help you avoid more expensive dental procedures. We also do not want to miss something that could affect your overall health.
